Women’s Charity High Tea held on Saturday 15 November 2025

Broadbeach Robina Cricket Club is proud to present the Women’s Charity High Tea on Saturday 15 November 2025—an uplifting afternoon that celebrates resilience, champions women in sport and life, and raises funds for two vital local causes. This year, BRCC again joins forces with the Domestic Violence Prevention Centre (DVPC), with proceeds shared between DVPC’s frontline services and the continued growth of BRCC’s female cricket program.

A powerful conversation, a special guest

We were thrilled to welcome Olympic Gold Medallist Sally Pearson as one of our special guests for an on-stage conversation with media personality Ali Plath – we also had Bec Rawlings and Bonnie Hancock with us in the previous year. We witnessed an inspiring discussion about high performance, setbacks, and the support systems that help women and girls thrive—on the field and beyond.

The return of the Broady Slipper (men’s high-heel race)

Back by popular demand: the cheeky, crowd-favourite Broady Slipper—our men’s high-heel dash for bragging rights and a great cause. Mercure Gold Coast Resort was the event sponsor for the Broady Slipper in 2025.

Our 2025 winner is Peter Howarth – BRCC Committee member.

Where your support goes

Your ticket, table, raffle bid or sponsorship makes a tangible difference. Funds raised will be directed to:

  • Domestic Violence Prevention Centre to sustain vital local services for victim-survivors.

  • BRCC’s female cricket pathway—supporting equipment, coaching and programs that encourage girls and young women to play, stay and lead in our club.

Sponsorship opportunities

This event succeeds because of generous partners who share our values. If you or your business would like to get involved, there’s a level to suit every budget—with strong brand exposure before, during and after the day.

Interested businesses can email President-brcc@outlook.com for more information on the 2026 event.

To discuss sponsorship or donations, please contact the club—our committee will match you with the right package and provide artwork specs and timelines.

How to get involved

  • Book your table: Rally teammates, friends and family for an afternoon of connection and purpose.

  • Sponsor or donate: Align your brand with a high-impact community event and help us reach more women and girls.

  • Spread the word: Share our posts, invite your network, and help us fill the room.

Ticketing and program details will be shared via BRCC channels—keep an eye on our website and socials for the booking link and schedule.

Together, we make change

The Women’s Charity High Tea brings our cricket family and the wider Gold Coast community together around a simple belief: everyone deserves safety, opportunity and belonging. Thank you to our sponsors, donors, and guests—your support turns a beautiful afternoon into real, local impact.

The 3rd annual High Tea is scheduled for October 2026 — save the date. We can’t wait to welcome you.
