Sponsored by the Domestic Violence Prevention Centre: Women’s Charity High Tea — Saturday 15 November 2025

Broadbeach Robina Cricket Club is proud to announce the Domestic Violence Prevention Centre (DVPC) as a key sponsor of our Women’s Charity High Tea on Saturday 15 November 2025. This partnership brings purpose to our favourite social afternoon: every ticket, raffle bid and donation helps fund frontline support for women and children experiencing domestic and family violence on the Gold Coast, while also backing BRCC’s women’s and junior programs.

Safety first: If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 000.

About DVPC: Safety, dignity and hope

Established in 1992, the Domestic Violence Prevention Centre provides a wide range of services for women and their children affected by domestic and family violence. DVPC also runs programs with men who use violence, working across systems to increase safety and accountability.

Through the Gold Coast Domestic Violence Integrated Response, DVPC partners with government and non-government agencies and other women’s services to improve how our community responds to violence. Their work is guided by a clear vision: everyone has the right to live safely—with justice, freedom and hope—in their family, community and country.

DVPC’s approach is inclusive and accessible. You’ll see multilingual welcomes across their materials and a strong commitment to supporting people from diverse cultures and LGBTIQ+ communities. DVPC also acknowledges the Kombumerri people as Traditional Custodians of the land on which they work, paying respect to Elders past and present.

DVPC is funded by the Queensland Government and supported by the City of Gold Coast—but community fundraising remains vital to meeting local need. That’s where events like our High Tea make a real, tangible difference.

Why the High Tea matters

Our High Tea is about connection and contribution. On the day, you’ll share stories, celebrate women in our community, and rally behind services that save lives and change futures. Funds raised will:

  • Support DVPC’s frontline work with women and children on the Gold Coast.
  • Strengthen BRCC’s women’s and junior cricket pathways, from coaching and equipment to programs that help girls play, stay and lead.

When sport and community services team up, we get the best of both worlds—safe families and thriving teams.

On the day: what to expect

  • Beautiful afternoon tea with refreshments on arrival.
  • Inspiring conversations spotlighting women’s achievements and lived experience.
  • Auctions, raffles and a door prize, with all proceeds to charity.
  • Plenty of club camaraderie—bring your friends, fill a table, and make it a date.

(For full program details and ticketing, check BRCC’s website and socials.)
