Sponsored by City of Gold Coast: Women’s Charity High Tea — Saturday 15 November 2025

Broadbeach Robina Cricket Club is proud to welcome the City of Gold Coast as a sponsor of our Women’s Charity High Tea on Saturday 15 November 2025. This partnership brings the best of our city—community spirit, inclusive events and practical support—together for an afternoon that raises funds for women’s and junior cricket at BRCC and for vital local services.

A city that shows up for community

From beaches and hinterland trails to libraries, parks and local markets, the City of Gold Coast helps create the places and programs that connect us. Their everyday services keep life moving—My Account, PD Online, rates & water, waste & recycling, parking, and simple tools like Find my bin day and Report a problem—while their events calendar keeps the Coast buzzing.

Recent highlights on the city calendar show how broad the support is: from the SWELL Sculpture Festival on Currumbin Beach, to guided walks, wellness activities, art exhibitions and family-friendly programs across the suburbs. The City is also looking ahead—celebrating the countdown to the 2032 Paralympic Games with inclusive sports initiatives and community activations.

When a club like ours steps up to host a fundraiser for women and families, it’s no surprise the City is in our corner.

Why this sponsorship matters

The Women’s Charity High Tea is about connection and impact. Sponsor support from the City of Gold Coast means:

  • More resources for women’s and junior cricket at BRCC—coaching, equipment and pathways that help girls play, stay and lead.
  • Stronger local services, with funds directed to community organisations that support safety, wellbeing and inclusion.
  • A bigger platform for positive stories—celebrating women’s achievements and lived experiences, and inviting the whole community to be part of change.

In short, the City’s backing helps turn a wonderful afternoon into real outcomes across the Coast.

How the City supports locals—every day

The City of Gold Coast’s role in community life goes far beyond big projects. It’s the everyday touchpoints that add up:

  • Easy services: pay bills online, manage accounts and permits, and get city alerts for outages or interruptions.
  • Active & Healthy: programs that get residents moving—walks, workshops and outdoor activities across the Coast.
  • Cultural life: exhibitions, markets and festivals that make weekends feel special.
  • Prepared and resilient: disaster-readiness programs and practical advice for weather and recovery.
  • Doing business: investment and support for local enterprise that keeps our economy strong.

That whole-of-city care is exactly what makes partnerships like ours so impactful.

Thank you, City of Gold Coast

On behalf of our players, families, volunteers and supporters—thank you to the City of Gold Coast for backing the Women’s Charity High Tea and for the work you do every day to keep our community safe, vibrant and connected.
